Hmm... interesting. I always like pictures of the sky, with the birds for some reason. The second photo struck me as purely california: perfectly sculpted bushes in strange manners with thick roots that show. It was either california or a time trip back to the 60s, possibly 70s. Maybe both.
Anyway, I hope you're feeling well and that the holidays were agreeable for you. I know they were for me.
In case you were wondering, I went to Germany and France over the college break on a whim... to see my old german friend. I enjoyed secret delights, coming back to the states a bit more worldly but still wanting more.

Yes - even in the middle of "winter" there are parts of this city that always look like the summer of 1970 to me. Also interested in the weird choices people make to decorate their weird little house fronts.

I did see your christmas greeting from Germany video. There, I'm sure it looks like winter for real. Glad you had a good time and got to take a break from your prison cell
